To All Phase 2 Applicants without Temporary Approval:
Section 104.08(f) of the Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC) authorizes the Department of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) to grant Applicants an extension to pass the pre-licensing inspection required by LAMC 104.08(a) due to extenuating circumstances as determined by DCR in its sole discretion. On December 11, 2019, DCR granted Phase 2 Applicants without Temporary Approval an extension to pass the pre-licensing inspection required by LAMC Section 104.08(a) until March 31, 2020.
DCR hereby grants an additional extension of time until July 3, 2020 to all Phase 2 Applicants without Temporary Approval, provided that their 2020 Non-Retailer Commercial Cannabis Activity Renewal Fees are paid by 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time), May 15, 2020. DCR will be emailing 2020 Renewal Invoices on or before March 2, 2020. Please be advised that DCR will deem an application abandoned if its renewal fee is not paid by 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time), May 15, 2020.
Phase 2 Applicants without Temporary Approval must request the pre-licensing inspection in writing by email on or before June 3, 2020, at dcrlicensing@lacity.org, with the subject line “Request for Pre-Licensing Inspection. Application No. LA-C-18-XXXXXX-APP”.
